Jessica Waters is a special counsel in KWM's competition and regulatory team in our Sydney office.
Jessica advises clients on competition and consumer law investigations and inquiries, ACCC merger clearances, and general competition and consumer law compliance including cartel risks, misuse of market power, unfair contract terms, and training.
Jessica has experience advising on complex industry regulatory arrangements and proposed legislative reform - notably in the gas, rail, agriculture and FMCG sectors in Australia. Her clients range from large energy companies and FMCG retailers to financial institutions and tech companies.
Jessica also has significant in-house experience from a range of secondments, and has worked in London and Brussels.
Outside of law, Jessica is also a major sports events report and media operations professional, most recently at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
