- Kirsten has extensive experience assisting clients with many large strategic sourcing and complex technology arrangements, including digital transformations, major technology development and implementation projects, agile projects, outsourcing agreements and a range of cloud and managed services.
- Kirsten’s expertise has assisted her clients to understand and get value out of their intellectual property rights, particularly in the context of technology and emerging technologies. Kirsten is passionate about new and emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, drones, autonomous vehicles and NFTs.
- Kirsten actively supports clients on matters relating privacy, data and cybersecurity. She has extensive expertise assisting clients to understand the security of critical infrastructure regime, understand their obligations and deal with risks and breaches under the Privacy Act and maximising value from their data through commercialisation, data sharing and collaboration agreements.
- Kirsten is an important member of the KWM team advising on M&A transactions in her specialist role advising on intellectual property, data, privacy, IT and the associated separation, transitional arrangements and ongoing service agreements to support transactions.
