Areas of Practice 

Ms. Su specialises in project finance, acquisition finance, syndicated loans, real property finance, incorporation of financial institutions and derivatives trading platforms, etc.

Ms. Su represented overseas and domestic syndicates, banks, joint ventures, and project companies in many project finances concerning a wide range of sectors including hydropower, wind farm, nuclear power, biomass, oil, chemicals, and manufacturing. She is also experienced in cross-border acquisition finance and real property finance. She has provided legal services for various Chinese policy banks, commercial banks and sponsors in such projects.

Her clients also include the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE), the China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS), the China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX), the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), and the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE). She assists these exchanges in cooperating with foreign exchanges, revising trading rules and procedures, and drafting standard contracts, and issues legal opinions.

Ms. Su was recognised as a “Highly Recommended Lawyer” in the field of banking and finance by Legal 500 (2019/2020).

Work Experience

Ms. Su joined King & Wood Mallesons Beijing Office in 2006, and transferred to Shanghai Office in 2013.

Ms. Su graduated with LLB from University of International Business and Economic, LLM from Sheffield University and obtained CPE from Sussex University. 

Ms. Su is qualified to practice law in China.

Ms. Su's working languages are Chinese and English.
