Adam Jiang is a Special Counsel in our projects and real estate group. He has extensive experience with the acquisition, sale and leasing of real estate, with a particular focus on real estate development and international investment into Australia.
Adam has also worked on the acquisition and development of a number of infrastructure projects nationally, including mine acquisition and development, wind farm developments, port acquisitions, rail infrastructure projects and student accommodation projects.
- Sale of the Novotel on Collins. The transaction involved separate sales of the hotel and car park real estate, a sale of the hotel business and implementation of shared services arrangements with the adjoining retail owner.
- Acquisition of a 50% interest in the proposed development of 839 Collins Street, Melbourne. The project involved a lease pre-commitment from ANZ, fund through and co-ownership arrangement
- Sale of St Collins Lane retail precinct. The transaction involved an indirect sale of the property by way of a sale of the units in a unit trust.
- Acquisition of a cold storage logistics facility. The transaction involved a fully leased facility with existing expansion right rights. The purchase was on behalf of a German based fund.
