Areas of Practice 

Mr. Chen Jun specializes in IP related dispute resolution, IP protection and commercial dispute resolution.

Mr. Chen has rich and extensive experience in IP and commercial dispute resolution. He has represented domestic and foreign clients in arbitrations before CIETAC, HKIAC, JCAA, ICC and other arbitration institutions, as well as in litigations at various levels of courts in China. He regularly appears in arbitration and litigation cases concerning corporate governance, corporate right of control, M&A, lease, recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, hotel management, franchising, trademark registration and infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition, and technology licensing etc.

Mr. Chen’s clients include multinational companies, foreign-invested enterprises, and large-scaled state-owned and private enterprises.

He also regularly advises on client’s day-to-day operation, IP transaction, investment, and corporate compliance etc.

Work Experience

Mr. Chen joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2007. Prior to this, he worked for another Chinese law firm for about 2 years.

He obtained his LL.B. from the English School of Beijing Foreign Studies University and his LL.M. from the Law School of Renmin University of China. He attended the first training scheme of the Bar Council of England and Wales in 2012. 

Mr. Chen was admitted to practise in P.R.China in 2004.

Mr. Chen’s working languages are Chinese and English.
