Ms. Esther Hao advises and specializes on all aspects of trademark law. Her concentration is primarily upon trademark application and protection, and on trademark-related litigation and prosecution. She represents clients in trademark oppositions, disputes, and cancellations. She reviews refusal of trademark applications, applications for recognition of trademarks, and other trademark-related matters.
Ms. Hao has gained extensive experience in trademark portfolio management and has a wealth of knowledge in intellectual property rights protection, corporate, and of Australian commercial law.
In addition, Ms. Hao is experienced in foreign investment in China.
Ms. Esther Hao joined King & Wood Mallesons in 1997. Prior to joining our firm, she worked with the Beijing Judicial Bureau, practiced at the Financial & Business Law Office, and at Zhong Peng Law Office. She spent a number of years working in an Australian law firm and at an investment company as a Chinese legal consultant. She obtained her LL.B. from the Branch Campus of Peking University and her LL.M. from the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Ms. Hao was admitted to practice in 1994, and is proficient in Chinese and English.
