KWM Hong Kong enhances cross border finance capabilities with the addition of Katherine Ke

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is pleased to announce the further growth of the Hong Kong partnership with the addition of Katherine Ke in the Banking & Finance practice.

Katherine joins from Clifford Chance and has over 15 years of experience advising PRC and multinational clients on cross-border financing transactions. Native in Mandarin and fluent in English, she represents lead arrangers, lenders, sponsors and corporates in a range of PRC inbound and outbound transactions including general syndicated loans, project finance, structured finance, trade finance and receivables finance. She also has a particular focus in asset finance and the aviation sector.

Richard Mazzochi, Head of Banking & Finance of the Hong Kong office, commented: “Katherine’s addition will strengthen our existing finance practice. The combination of Katherine and Ashley Wong’s experience will allow us to capture the opportunities in cross-border asset finance work as Hong Kong progresses in its development as an international financial centre and an international aviation hub.”

This appointment in the Hong Kong Banking & Finance practice follows the recruitment of Ashley Wong in January 2019.
