King & Wood Mallesons has moved up to number 12 in the 2015 Acritas Sharplegal Global Elite Brand Index. Since 2010 the firm has jumped 28 places – the largest increase of any law firm - reflecting the growing differentiation of the KWM brand in the competitive global market.
Commenting on the achievement, Stuart Fuller, Global Managing Partner, said, “The change in the global legal industry is reflected in the change in the rankings of the top law firms by our global clients. The continued improvement of our brand is a result of the local depth and global platform that KWM provides to its clients, our ability to connect our clients to business opportunities in the world's growth engines in Asia, and to provide our regional clients to the benefits of the global markets. We are grateful to our clients for recognising our differentiators and for the support that they provide to us in these global rankings."
The annual index of top 20 global law firm brands canvasses the views of 2,300 general counsel from ‘global elite’ organisations with a minimum revenue of (US) $1bn.
KWM’s ranking is a result of high scores across four categories; awareness, favourability, consideration for multi-jurisdictional deals, consideration for multi-jurisdictional litigation.
