Mr. Zheng Hong specializes in IP litigation and commercial dispute resolution.
Mr. Zheng has more than ten years of experience in IP litigation focusing on civil and administrative litigations relating to patents, trade secrets, trademarks, computer software, franchise, unfair competition, anti-monopoly and other IP and competition fields. He also advises clients on non-contentious matters such as establishment of IP management system, IP transaction and financing. He has served many well-known domestic and foreign companies from internet, electronics, telecommunications, high-end manufacturing, software, games and e-sports, IT, semiconductors, real estate, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automobile, food and beverage, theme parks and other industries.
Mr. Zheng is adept at handling complex and tricky IP and commercial disputes and providing rational and pragmatic solutions for clients. He has been involved in several high-profile IP cases, some of which were recognized as the "Top Ten IP Cases in China" and typical IP cases by the Supreme People's Court. Leveraging his strong professional competence and comprehensive analysis ability, Mr. Zheng can navigate the whole case while paying attention to details, receiving wide recognition among clients and judges.
As a patent attorney, Mr. Zheng has extensive experience in patent prosecution and invalidation. In addition, he has substantial experience in advising many enterprises on IP issues occurred during the process of their listing.
Work Experience
Before joining King & Wood Mallesons in 2012, Mr. Zheng served as the deputy director of the patent department in a patent firm.
He graduated from South China University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in science.
His working languages are Chinese and English.
